If you’re looking at the Dani Johnson Script Book, and wondering if it will help you with your prospecting and closing skills, what I share below may surprise you.
I bought this, and about 8 or 9 other script books in my early years, hoping they’d give me the magic bullet script to closing more people into my business.
Instead what happened was I got even more frustrated, because reading from a script, or even memorizing it and making it my own still didn’t feel natural. The Dani Johnson Script Book made me a pushy salesman, ha-ha.
If you’d like to learn how I enroll hundreds of people without calling any leads, then click the image here and be blown away at how easy it is to make sales and sponsor people on autopilot.
Friends, all I’m saying is there is not an end all be all magic bullet for success. Some people will buy the Dani Johnson script book and have a ball telemarketing and listening to excuse after excuse, then have 99 out of 100 people tell them NO. Some do very well with this approach, but it just wasn’t for me.
I learned early on that I didn’t like scripts, so I just flew by the seat of my pants on the phone, no scripts, just me. But I grew to HATE that too. Excuses, rejection, and hours wasted talking to tire kickers.
That problem led to a solution for me. Generate my own leads, use a “system” to do all the sorting and prospecting for me. Literally have people call or email me like they’ve known me for years because the “system” did the relationship building even while I was sleeping or lounging by the pool.
Now don’t get me wrong, I talk to people, support my team etc, I just don’t think spending time doing something that can be automated is a good use of my time. Just my opinion, you may love prospecting and that’s cool.
Buying leads is another issue. Lead companies have one goal and that’s to profit off the leads they generate. So obviously their approach to generating leads is to generate a lot and sell them many times.
On the other hand, if you generate your own leads, have people finding your content online, and getting to know you, then that is a true lead. Trust me, there is a HUGE difference between a lead generated on a generic company website, versus a lead that searched for a certain solution, found your content and opted into your list.
It’s a lot more fun to. Click the image here, and let me show you…
