About 10 years ago now I made a big mistake and broke a rule that I now follow that allowed me to go from ZERO to a full time income in network marketing in less than six months.
I did leave XanGo for a few reasons, but the biggest was the one factor that did allow me to achieve success so quickly in another company, but then struggle to earn 1/4 what I did in that previous company.
It’s been almost a decade since I made this mistake, but I’m glad I did early on, as it’s served me well over the last 10 years, and hopefully it’ll help earn you more money more quickly as well…
The mistake was this.. I joined XanGo because of all the hype about the pay plan, and how it was going to be the next billion dollar company. (I was young and stupid, actually bought into that hype, lol).
Don’t get me wrong, XanGo is a solid company, I loved the product, and I believe the founders are good people. But when it comes to a newbie, or someone who hasn’t earned their first $2,500/mo in this industry yet, there is one factor that can make all the difference.
That is having a recruiting system that actually gets people to pull out their credit card and join your business.
Yes, every company has a “system”, but most require YOU to become a prospecting and recruiting rockstar in order to build any significant income. And yes, it’ll require your team to do the same, slowing the duplication process all around you.
After leaving XanGo I joined another company that had a similar system to my first program, and within six months again I was earning 4 times what I was in XanGo, which took me over 2 years to achieve.

But seriously, I believe we’re in a new era of network marketing, where we can spend less time with the tire kickers, and more time with those who are serious and taking action.
I mean, this business is all about time freedom as much as it is financial freedom.
So even if you are a recruiting rockstar, or become one at some point, why would you want to spend all those extra hours recruiting, when an automated system can do most of that work for you, instantly increasing your volume, with WAY less work?

I do want to add a little prop on the XanGo product. As I said above, I did love the product. I thought it tasted great, and did have some great benefits. So if you’re a 100% product focused person, and you love the product, then XanGo will be a good fit.
But there are thousands of companies with great products, and it should go without saying that a good product is critical to a long term income. But there are VERY FEW companies that have a good product along with a recruiting system like what I’ve used for 90% of my career thus far, and will NEVER stray from again.
