ASEA Review & The One Major Challenge Reps Run Into

November 5, 2026 by Nate Bianco Leave a Comment

ASEA Review: Will the money be worth the effort?

If you’re researching ASEA, you’re probably wondering two things: are its redox products worth the price, and can you actually build a worthwhile income promoting them? ASEA is an established wellness network marketing company with an unusual product story and a newly redesigned compensation plan. But here’s the part I’d pay closest attention to: how much can you earn from your own customers before you have to depend on a downline?

In this ASEA review, I’ll cover the company, its products, costs, new ASEA One pay plan, and the challenge that doesn’t disappear just because a company introduces new bonuses: finding people who will actually do the work.

What Is ASEA, and Is It a Real Company?

ASEA is a Utah-based direct-selling company that began operating around 2009–2010. Its products are built around what the company calls redox signaling technology. ASEA sells wellness supplements and topical skincare products through independent Brand Partners and direct customer purchases.

ASEA has operated internationally for more than 15 years. Founder Tyler Norton serves as chairman, and Jarom Webb is CEO and vice chairman. The company is still active, and in January 2026 it rolled out a new compensation system called ASEA One in its supported markets.

That makes ASEA a real, operating business, not some anonymous website promising overnight riches. But an established company and a profitable opportunity for the average distributor are two different things.

I’ve been involved in network and affiliate marketing since 2002. I’ve seen legitimate companies with decent products where a lot of hardworking people still struggle to earn much. The company being real is the starting point of your research, not the finish line.

If your goal is residual income, don’t get so caught up in a company’s history that you forget to ask one question: what is each customer actually worth to you? You can spend years building a giant organization to earn a small slice of everyone’s sales, or you can get paid 80% on the customers you personally bring in.

Who Founded ASEA, and Who Runs It Today?

ASEA’s origins are associated with Verdis Norton, Tyler Norton, and James Pack. The company built its identity around a proprietary manufacturing process and a belief that its redox-focused products could stand apart from ordinary nutritional supplements.

Today, Tyler Norton is identified as founder and chair, while Jarom Webb serves as CEO and vice chairman. ASEA has continued investing in its product line, international markets, and distributor training.

Longevity counts for something. I would rather evaluate a business that has a track record than one that appeared last Tuesday with a compensation chart and a bunch of promises. Still, longevity alone doesn’t tell you whether the current products are competitively priced or whether the average Brand Partner makes money.

What Products Does ASEA Sell?

ASEA Redox Supplement

ASEA’s flagship product is a liquid supplement marketed around redox signaling molecules. The company describes these molecules as part of normal cellular communication and positions its manufacturing process as a point of differentiation.

Redox reactions are real biology. That does not automatically establish that drinking a particular supplement produces every benefit described in marketing materials or testimonials. Anyone considering the product should distinguish the company’s claims from independently replicated human clinical evidence for specific health outcomes.

RENU28 and Other Topical Products

ASEA also sells RENU28 Revitalizing Redox Gel and other personal-care products, including REDOXGold. The company markets these for skincare and related wellness uses. Its catalog has also included VIA nutritional products and other wellness offerings, with availability varying by market.

From a marketing standpoint, a distinctive product can be a real advantage. I’ve always preferred products customers can’t easily replace with a nearly identical item on Amazon. The catch is that unique doesn’t automatically mean customers will keep buying at any price. They still have to believe they’re getting enough value to reorder.

How Much Do ASEA Products Cost?

ASEA is not a bargain-basement supplement brand. On its U.S. customer price list effective January 24, 2026, four 32-ounce bottles of ASEA Redox Supplement were listed at $172.50 retail or $155 on subscription. Two bottles were listed at $95 retail or $85 on subscription. The Essentials Subscription Bundle was listed at $240 on subscription.

Prices and packages can change, so check the official customer price list before ordering. Also remember that the price a customer pays is not the same thing as the commission you receive. That’s where the real business analysis begins.

How Does the New ASEA One Compensation Plan Work?

This is an important update, because a lot of older ASEA reviews describe a binary plan that paid on left-leg and right-leg volume. ASEA launched ASEA One on January 24, 2026, so relying on the old plan to explain today’s opportunity would be misleading.

According to ASEA’s 2026 announcements, the new plan includes customer bonuses, Fast Start bonuses, team commissions, and incentives tied to early progress. It also introduced the term Brand Partner in place of Associate.

Customer and Fast Start Bonuses

Brand Partners can earn from eligible customer purchases and from qualifying new Brand Partner activity. The exact amount you earn depends on the current plan’s definitions, volume, eligibility, and the products or packages involved. Don’t confuse a one-time enrollment bonus with ongoing income from a customer who keeps buying.

Team Commissions

ASEA says the new system automatically pays the higher result from two team-commission calculations. That’s potentially useful, but it doesn’t mean everyone with a downline earns a substantial check. You still need qualifying sales volume, active customers, and people who continue producing business.

Director 300 and Club One

ASEA identifies Director 300 as an early milestone. Its published explanation says a new Brand Partner who achieves the required milestone twice and meets volume requirements within the first 90 days can qualify for a one-time $300 bonus. ASEA also promotes Club One, an activity-focused training and recognition framework.

Those incentives might help a new person get moving. But a one-time $300 bonus is not the same as building $300 a month in recurring income, and neither one proves that your organization will continue to grow.

Before enrolling, get the complete current ASEA One compensation guide and ask someone to walk you through the actual payout on a typical repeat customer order, including all qualifications. If they can explain the exciting rank bonuses but not that basic customer math, keep asking.

The Biggest Problem With Building an ASEA Downline

Here’s where my own experience comes in. I’ve personally recruited thousands of people over the years. I’ve built organizations under binary, unilevel, and matrix compensation plans. And one thing has been remarkably consistent: most people who enroll do very little, if anything.

That isn’t an attack on ASEA distributors. It’s human nature. Some people love the product and never really intend to sell it. Others are excited for a week, talk to three friends, and disappear. A few will consistently generate leads, follow up, enroll customers, and build their own teams. Finding those few can take a lot of recruiting.

You can have a team of a hundred people and still have only a handful creating meaningful volume. You can recruit another hundred and discover the same thing. That’s why a compensation plan showing what happens with a large, productive organization can look fantastic on paper while the actual monthly check remains disappointing.

And here’s the part that gets overlooked: when commissions from individual customer orders are modest, you may need a lot of repeat customers and sustained team volume to create the income you originally had in mind. The precise payout varies by plan and order, so I’m not claiming every ASEA sale pays only a few dollars. I’m saying you need to calculate your real earnings per customer rather than getting hypnotized by the biggest number on a rank chart.

I still believe network marketing can create leveraged income. I earned my living through it for years. But I no longer think building a massive organization is the only sensible route to recurring commissions, especially when most recruits aren’t going to duplicate your efforts.

I’ve done the build-a-huge-team routine, and I’ve found a faster way. A few dozen loyal customers paying you every month can beat a giant downline paying you pennies.

Can You Make Money With ASEA?

Yes, a Brand Partner can earn commissions under ASEA’s plan. But that doesn’t tell us how many participants make a profit after purchases, marketing costs, events, travel, and the time they put in.

ASEA published an older U.S. income disclosure based on 2020 commission data and updated in March 2021. It showed a wide gap between lower ranks and executive ranks. Importantly, that document calculated averages using periods when commissions were earned; it should not be read as the average income of everyone who enrolled. It also predates ASEA One and cannot establish what today’s participants typically earn.

I could not verify a comprehensive, current U.S. income disclosure for ASEA One showing all participants, including those who earned nothing, and their expenses. Until that information is available, be cautious about any presentation that treats top-rank checks as typical.

The honest answer is that you may earn money, you may earn very little, or you may spend more than you bring in. The deciding factors include actual customer demand, your ability to market consistently, retention, expenses, and the compensation rules.

What Does It Cost to Join ASEA?

ASEA offers product packs and recurring customer subscriptions, but enrollment offers, package pricing, and Brand Partner qualification rules can change by market. I would not rely on an older review’s joining fee or autoship requirement without checking the current enrollment page and ASEA One guide.

Before paying anything, get clear answers to four questions:

  • What is the least expensive way to become a Brand Partner?
  • What purchases or sales volume, if any, are required to remain eligible for each type of commission?
  • How much do you earn from a normal customer’s second, third, and fourth order?
  • What happens to commissions if your team volume drops or you don’t meet a rank requirement?

Also include your own expenses. Website tools, email software, advertising, events, and product purchases can all affect your actual profit. A gross commission check is not the same as take-home income.

Is ASEA a Pyramid Scheme or a Scam?

ASEA is a long-running direct-selling company with real products and customer sales. That alone does not settle every legal or economic question about a multilevel compensation structure, but I found no basis in the sources reviewed to label ASEA a scam or an illegal pyramid scheme.

The right questions are whether people buy the products because they genuinely want them, whether rewards are tied to legitimate sales rather than recruitment alone, and whether participants can reasonably cover their costs. Those questions matter for any MLM, not just ASEA.

Product-health claims deserve scrutiny too. ASEA’s redox terminology can sound scientific, and redox biology certainly is. But claims about a particular product should be evaluated on the quality of human evidence for that product, not just impressive explanations of what cells do naturally.

Does ASEA Provide Training and Support?

ASEA promotes onboarding resources, training, and Club One activities intended to help Brand Partners take consistent action. A helpful sponsor and a supportive team can make a difference, especially when you’re brand-new.

But here’s the distinction I wish more people understood: knowing your products and memorizing a pay plan isn’t the same as knowing how to find customers. I learned that early in my own career. My first sponsor kept bringing me back to lead generation whenever I got distracted by the finer points of a compensation chart.

That advice helped me build an online business, and it still holds up. You need a way to reach targeted prospects beyond friends and family, capture those leads on an email list you control, and follow up over time. The best training is training that helps you do those things consistently, not just get excited at a convention.

ASEA Pros and Cons

What I Like About ASEA

  • It has been operating for more than 15 years rather than appearing overnight.
  • Its redox-focused products have a distinctive positioning that may appeal to loyal customers.
  • It offers both customer-focused earnings and team-building opportunities.
  • ASEA One is a meaningful enough plan change that prospective Brand Partners have a reason to recheck the current economics.
  • Training and community support may help new marketers learn the basics.

What Gives Me Pause

  • Some products carry premium prices, which can make customer acquisition and retention more challenging.
  • Scientific-sounding product claims still need solid, product-specific evidence.
  • The new plan’s actual customer payout and qualification details need careful review.
  • I could not verify a current, comprehensive ASEA One income disclosure that establishes typical net earnings.
  • Team-based income still depends on other people’s ongoing sales activity, which is hard to control.

Who Might ASEA Be a Good Fit For?

If you genuinely like the products, understand their limitations, have customers willing to reorder at the current prices, and enjoy building relationships, ASEA could be worth examining. It may also suit someone who wants to build a team over time and understands that most recruits won’t become active business builders.

On the other hand, if your main goal is a substantial monthly residual check as quickly as reasonably possible, I would compare ASEA’s real recurring commission per customer with alternatives before committing. You don’t need to hate MLM to recognize that earning more from each loyal customer can make the math a whole lot easier.

My Final Verdict on ASEA

ASEA is an established company with an unusual product line and a revamped compensation plan. I wouldn’t dismiss it simply because it’s an MLM. I’ve made a living in network marketing, and I know firsthand that the model can work.

But I’ve also recruited thousands of people, and I know what it takes to find the handful who will actually build. A big organization doesn’t automatically mean a big check, and a fancy new bonus structure doesn’t change human nature.

If ASEA’s products and community appeal to you, study the current plan, ask for real customer-commission examples, and make sure the numbers work before you spend money. If what you really want is residual income, compare how many customers you would need under different models. That’s the comparison that could save you years of frustration.

I’ve personally recruited thousands of people, and I can tell you there’s a much better way to build residual income than chasing an army of distributors for tiny commissions.
