NUEVA Review: Products, Pay Plan & What It Takes to Succeed

October 28, 2026 by Nate Bianco Leave a Comment

Nuava Review: The full breakdown and what it takes to build a successful Nuava business.

Is NUEVA a good network marketing company to join? NUEVA is a newer wellness and lifestyle direct-selling company launched in 2025 after the collapse of Modere. It offers supplements, beauty products, travel memberships, retail commissions and a team-building compensation plan. It also has some recognizable names from the network marketing industry behind it. But before joining NUEVA, I’d look beyond the products and pay plan at something that affects every networking business: your ability to consistently find customers, enroll new people and help the ones who want to build actually get started.

What Is NUEVA, and Who Founded It?

NUEVA, sometimes called NUEVA Life, is a privately held direct-selling company offering wellness products and digital travel benefits. The company began in spring 2025, shortly after Modere closed in April of that year.

Brian McMullen is publicly identified as NUEVA’s founder and CEO. In a May 2025 statement, he explained that Modere’s sudden closure helped inspire him and other industry veterans to build a new company. NUEVA describes itself as privately held and self-funded. Michelle Barnes has also publicly discussed her role as a co-founder, although I haven’t found a definitive public document identifying every owner and their ownership percentages.

Some prominent marketers associated with NUEVA include Michelle Barnes, John and Nadya Melton, Tony and Sarah Zolecki, Margie Aliprandi, Randy and Samantha Schroeder, and Rick Teague. Business For Home lists these names in its company directory, but that isn’t a verified ranking of their current earnings.

Experienced leaders can bring momentum, relationships and knowledge to a new company. That’s a positive. But there’s a difference between joining a company with successful leaders and knowing how to build a business yourself. A big name in your upline doesn’t automatically put customers or productive distributors in your organization.

What Products Does NUEVA Sell?

NUEVA’s main business is built around nutritional supplements, beauty and lifestyle products. Its current catalog includes:

  • NUEVA Nitro: An energy and focus drink featuring ingredients such as L-citrulline, beta-alanine and B vitamins.
  • NUEVA Morning: Coffee blended with ingredients marketed for mental clarity, including lion’s mane and L-theanine.
  • NUEVA Boost: Mushroom-based gummies positioned for focus and daily wellness.
  • NUEVA Snow Slim: A powdered product marketed for weight management and body-composition support.
  • NUEVA Snow Collagen: A collagen supplement marketed for skin and structural support.
  • NUEVA Biotic: A supplement combining prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics.
  • NUEVA Alive and Revive: Greens and hydration products.
  • NUEVA Body, Body+ and Beauty: Additional wellness, metabolism and beauty-focused products.

NUEVA also markets travel memberships. The company says its travel platforms provide access to discounted travel bookings. Whether those memberships save a particular customer money depends on the bookings they make and the membership costs.

One thing I always look at with network marketing products is how different they really are from what’s already available. A unique formula that customers love can help with repeat orders. But if someone can buy a similar product elsewhere for considerably less, keeping that customer long term may be harder. I’d compare ingredients, serving sizes, prices and the value customers get before making a decision.

And here’s my favorite test: Would you keep buying the products if there were no compensation plan attached? Real customer demand matters a lot more to lasting residual income than launch excitement.

Finding a company with products you believe in is important. But once you’ve chosen your company, the next challenge is finding a steady flow of people who are actually interested in what you’re offering.

How Much Does It Cost to Join NUEVA?

NUEVA currently offers a free-enrollment path for social marketers on its website. Product purchases, optional bundles and ongoing subscriptions are separate decisions, and the total cost depends on what you choose. For example, the online catalog has shown individual supplements priced from roughly $55 to more than $200, with higher-priced product bundles also available. Those prices can change.

A NUEVA travel-membership listing has shown an initial $199.99 charge including the first month, followed by $39.99 every 30 days. Check the current checkout terms, cancellation policy and whether a purchase counts toward any commission qualifications before subscribing.

Personally, I wouldn’t choose a company just because it has an attractive starter package. I’d calculate what I’d actually spend over six or twelve months, and whether I wanted those products for their own value.

How Does the NUEVA Compensation Plan Work?

NUEVA advertises two basic ways to earn: commissions from retail customer purchases and additional compensation from building a sales organization. Its official opportunity page advertises retail commissions of up to 40%, plus leadership bonuses and team overrides.

The more detailed figures below come from a third-party analysis published in July 2025. They are useful for understanding the reported structure, but I couldn’t independently confirm that every rank requirement and residual percentage is unchanged in October 2026. Anyone seriously evaluating NUEVA should request its current official compensation plan.

NUEVA Retail Commission Percentages

Under the reported 2025 plan, retail commission rates increased with customer activity and volume:

  • Promoter: 15%
  • Bronze: 20%
  • Silver: 24%
  • Gold: 28%
  • Platinum: 30%
  • Platinum 1: 32%
  • Platinum 2: 34%
  • Platinum 3: 36%
  • Platinum Black levels: 40%

Those higher rates were tied to increasing numbers of active retail customers and customer volume points. For example, the 2025 analysis reported that Platinum required 15 active customers and 3,000 monthly customer points, while the first Platinum Black level required 50 active customers and 15,000 points.

That customer focus is worth paying attention to. Building a base of people who genuinely want to reorder products is one of the most important pieces of sustainable residual income.

NUEVA Initial-Order and Residual Commissions

The July 2025 analysis reported a 20% commission on a personally enrolled marketer’s initial qualifying product order and 10% on the initial qualifying order of someone enrolled by that marketer. These were described as initial-order commissions, not ongoing monthly payments.

For recurring organizational commissions, NUEVA was reported to use a unilevel plan with generational qualifications. The published breakdown described:

  • Team Leader: 7% on the first two payable generations.
  • Senior Team Leader: 7% on the first three and 4% on the fourth.
  • Director 1: 7% on the first three and 5% on the fourth.
  • Director 2: 7% on the first three, 5% on the fourth and 4% on the fifth.
  • Director 3: 7% on the first three, 5% on the fourth and 4% on the fifth and sixth.
  • Executive 1: 7% on the first three, 5% on the fourth and 4% on the fifth through seventh.
  • Executive 2: 7% on the first three, 5% on the fourth and 4% on the fifth through eighth.
  • Executive 3 and above: 7% on the first three, 5% on the fourth and fifth, and 4% on the sixth through eighth.

Generations aren’t necessarily the same thing as fixed sponsorship levels. A generation can extend through multiple levels until a qualifying leader creates the next generational break. Also, a percentage of commissionable volume is not necessarily the same as that percentage of the customer’s retail purchase price.

The reported 2025 monthly group-volume qualifications included 2,000 GV for Team Leader, 6,000 for Senior Team Leader, 12,000 for Director 1, 25,000 for Director 2, 50,000 for Director 3, 100,000 for Executive 1, 200,000 for Executive 2 and 400,000 for Executive 3. Higher ranks also involved qualified leaders in separate legs and limits on volume from any single leg. Exact current qualifications need to be checked with NUEVA.

On paper, those residual percentages can look appealing. But I’ve been in network marketing long enough to know that the prettiest pay plan in the world doesn’t do much for you if you’re not bringing in customers and finding people who actually build.

Here’s the question I’d ask before getting too excited about any compensation plan: once you’ve talked with the people you already know, where will your next prospects come from? You need a way to keep reaching interested people without starting over every week. Click the banner below to see how the right online tools, lead generation training and live support can help you build that foundation.

How Big Is NUEVA? Company Sales and Growth

Business For Home estimates NUEVA generated approximately $9 million in sales during 2025. That’s an industry-directory estimate, not an audited revenue figure supplied by NUEVA. Since the company began operating in 2025, the figure also doesn’t represent a full twelve-month operating history.

NUEVA’s own opportunity page has described its community as having more than 70,000 members. That number shouldn’t be confused with 70,000 active distributors or paying retail customers; the public statement doesn’t provide that breakdown.

For me, the more useful questions are how many genuine retail customers reorder, how long they stay, and whether sales keep growing after the excitement of a launch settles down. Those numbers would tell us more about the company’s long-term strength than a big launch event or a list of famous leaders.

The Human Nature Problem Most Network Marketers Underestimate

Here’s where I want to get away from the company presentation for a minute and talk about what building a network marketing organization actually looks like.

I’ve been involved in network and affiliate marketing since 2002. For the first seven years of my online career, I built my income through network marketing exclusively. I still love the business model because of the leverage it can create. Eventually, you can have customers and team members generating sales without personally making every sale yourself.

But there’s one challenge I’ve seen over and over: most people you enroll are going to do very little, and genuine duplication is rare.

Some people join because they’re curious. Some want the products. Others like the idea of extra income but never make it a priority. A few get started enthusiastically and then lose interest. And every so often, you find someone who takes the business seriously, develops the skills and becomes a producer.

That’s not a criticism of the people who don’t build. Everybody has different goals, circumstances and priorities. It’s simply human nature, and I think it’s a mistake to build your business plan around the assumption that everyone you sponsor will turn around and sponsor five more people.

One thing I’ve learned is that you can’t motivate someone who’s willing to give 20% effort into consistently giving 80%. You can encourage people, offer help and make sure they know where to start. But you can’t do their work for them.

So how do you eventually find those few people who really produce? You keep meeting new people. You keep sharing the products and opportunity with interested prospects. And you give the people who want to build a reasonable way to get started.

That doesn’t guarantee you’ll find a major leader. But without a steady flow of new prospects, your chances of finding one become pretty limited.

Why Finding New Prospects Matters More Than Finding the Perfect Pay Plan

When I first started online in 2002, my sponsor taught me how to generate leads outside my circle of friends and family. He kept bringing me back to the same point: find interested people, enroll customers and distributors, and don’t get so distracted by the details that you forget to market.

That advice shaped my entire career. My mom and sister bought products from one of the companies I promoted, but my warm market wasn’t what built my income. If I’d relied only on friends and family, I probably would have topped out at around $23 a month.

I’m not against sharing products with people you know. I just don’t believe in turning every family gathering into a sales presentation. If someone is interested, great. If not, they’re still your friends and family.

Instead, I believe the real skill is learning how to attract people who are already looking for what you offer. That might be through search-based YouTube videos, blog articles, social media or another strategy that fits your personality.

Then, rather than sending every visitor straight to a company website and hoping they buy immediately, you can build your own permission-based email list. That gives you a way to follow up, answer questions, build trust and stay in touch over time.

It’s a skill and an asset you can use with NUEVA or almost any other legitimate product or opportunity you choose to promote.

The Duplication Problem: What Happens After Someone Joins?

Getting a new distributor enrolled is only the beginning. What happens next is just as important.

Think about it. You finally find someone who’s excited, willing to learn and ready to work. They ask the obvious question: “Okay, how do I find people?”

Now what?

If your entire training system consists of telling them to make a list of 100 friends, post about the products on Facebook and invite people to a Zoom, that might work for some personalities. But what about the person who doesn’t have a large social circle, doesn’t enjoy pitching friends, or wants to build online without constantly messaging strangers?

And what happens when you personally enroll ten, twenty or fifty people who all need help with lead generation? Are you going to be the one teaching every person how to build a capture page, write follow-up emails, create content and troubleshoot their marketing?

That’s a lot to put on one sponsor, especially when you’re supposed to be out finding new prospects yourself.

NUEVA does advertise personalized shop links, templates, scripts, weekly mentorship and community calls. Those are useful company resources. But I also like the idea of having a separate, shared marketing education system that teaches the actual skills of attracting prospects and building a contact list, regardless of which networking company someone belongs to.

Imagine being able to tell a new teammate: “Here’s where you can learn different ways to generate leads. Here’s how to set up your pages and email follow-up. And when you get stuck, here’s where you can get live help from people who know this stuff.”

Now you aren’t trying to become everyone’s personal marketing instructor. You’re learning and improving alongside your team, using the same resources they are.

Ever had someone join your team, get excited, and then ask you to teach them everything about finding prospects? That’s where duplication can get overwhelming. It helps when you and your team can plug into the same marketing tools, step-by-step training and live help instead of figuring everything out alone. Click the banner below to see what that kind of support looks like.

Why Everyone on Your Team Doesn’t Need to Use the Same Lead Generation Strategy

There’s another part of duplication that I think gets overlooked: people have different strengths.

Years ago, I was generating leads using bulk email marketing. It worked extremely well for me. A woman on my team wanted to do what I was doing, so I showed her the process. She tried for months and couldn’t get the same results.

Eventually she switched to organic Facebook marketing, found a strategy that fit her, and became so good at it that she was enrolling more people than I was.

That experience taught me something important. Duplication doesn’t have to mean everybody uses the exact same traffic method. It can mean everybody follows the same basic process: attract interested prospects, collect permission to follow up, build relationships, and introduce the right people to the products or opportunity.

One person may prefer making short YouTube videos. Another might enjoy writing blog posts. Someone else may be a natural at social media. Give people access to multiple strategies and let them work toward mastering one that fits.

And don’t underestimate live support. Training videos are helpful, but when your leads aren’t converting or your pages aren’t working, you need more than another prerecorded lesson. Being able to ask questions, show someone what you’re doing and get practical feedback can make a real difference.

It doesn’t eliminate the work, and it doesn’t mean every person will succeed. It simply gives the people who are serious a better chance to learn without depending on their sponsor for every answer.

Can You Build Residual Income With NUEVA?

Potentially, yes. NUEVA sells products customers can reorder, and its reported compensation structure pays on qualifying organizational sales. Those are ingredients that can support recurring commissions.

But recurring commissions and dependable residual income aren’t the same thing. Customers can cancel, distributors can stop ordering, leaders can leave and companies can change compensation plans. Even a healthy organization needs ongoing attention.

I love the leverage that network marketing can provide. There’s something special about seeing a new customer or team member appear in your organization because somebody you sponsored did the work. That’s the part of the model that has always appealed to me.

At the same time, I think it can take months or years of consistent effort to find and develop a handful of real producers. While you’re doing that, the residual commission generated by any one person may be fairly small.

That’s one reason I like pairing a network marketing business with tools and training that online marketers already need. Instead of relying entirely on small commissions spread across a growing organization, you can potentially earn separate commissions by helping people access useful marketing resources while you build your team. Any such income depends on actual customer purchases and the terms of the separate program, of course.

The bigger point is that you aren’t forced to choose between developing your network marketing organization and building useful marketing skills and assets of your own.

What Are the Pros and Cons of NUEVA?

Potential Advantages

  • Experienced industry leaders and an established network of promoters.
  • A broad catalog of consumable wellness products that may encourage repeat purchases.
  • Retail customer commissions advertised at up to 40%.
  • Reported organizational overrides and generational residual commissions.
  • Company-provided shop links, marketing materials and weekly mentorship calls.
  • Both physical products and digital travel memberships.

Questions and Concerns

  • NUEVA has a short operating history, having launched in 2025.
  • Its estimated 2025 sales are not independently audited public financial results.
  • Public information doesn’t clearly establish every owner’s equity stake.
  • Detailed 2025 compensation figures need to be confirmed against the latest official plan.
  • Some products compete in crowded supplement categories where price and differentiation matter.
  • I couldn’t locate a current, comprehensive public income disclosure showing what typical NUEVA marketers actually earn after expenses.
  • Like any MLM, building a productive team can be difficult, and most new enrollees should not be assumed to become active recruiters.

A critical 2025 review by BehindMLM also raised questions about early ownership disclosures and whether distributor purchases might outweigh genuine retail demand. Those were the reviewer’s concerns, not a regulatory finding against NUEVA. I’d want to see current retail-customer data and the full compensation document before drawing conclusions.

Who Might NUEVA Be a Good Fit For?

NUEVA may appeal to someone who likes its products, understands the ongoing costs, values the company’s leadership and is willing to spend time developing real customers. Someone who already knows how to generate leads may also be better positioned to test the opportunity without relying entirely on their warm market.

I’d be more cautious if the main reason for joining is the hope of spillover from a famous leader, the excitement of being early, or the expectation that a sponsor will build the business for you. Those are shaky foundations for any networking opportunity.

And if you’re completely new to online marketing, don’t assume you need to become an expert overnight. Choose one method of reaching people, learn it, practice it and build from there.

My Final Thoughts on NUEVA

NUEVA has experienced people behind it, a growing product catalog and a compensation plan that offers several ways to earn. It’s also young, and there are still questions worth answering about long-term customer retention, typical distributor earnings and the latest plan details.

But here’s the bigger lesson I’d take from this review, whether you join NUEVA or another network marketing company.

You can’t control whether every person you sponsor gets to work. You can’t make somebody become a producer. And you can’t assume a great product or generous compensation plan will automatically bring prospects to your door.

What you can control is learning to reach new people consistently, building a list you can follow up with, and making it easier for the people who genuinely want to build to get the training and support they need.

For me, that’s where a lasting business starts. The company matters. The products matter. But the skills and assets you build along the way can serve you long after any particular opportunity changes.

If you’re serious about building a team, you don’t want every new person depending on you to explain lead generation from scratch. And you need a reliable way to keep meeting new prospects yourself.
